On the floor

Last Thursday, the Senate passed a resolution thanking each Senate Fellow for our service. What did I get in exchange for working for peanuts for a year? A resolution that only the Senate Rules committee can request, and it was worth it! The experience that I gained this year was priceless, and really was well worth a year of low pay. I walked in with a passion for public policy, and I'm ending the year with a fledgling career. Not bad.
